Organize Your Genealogy in Evernote in 10 Easy Steps available as an Ebook
I am so THANKFUL for this book! I have had Evernote on my MAC every since I bought it several years ago but was intimidated by the program and the "instructions" from HELP which assume that you know certain procedures or computer lingo.
ReplyDeleteI noticed your book on Amazon and since I have been literally been buried in the accumulated date (the results of 35 plus years of searching for long lost dead people both in paper and digital files) I decided to take a chance that the book would suggest a way or organizing all my Genealogy info in a way that might allow me to actually FIND my items when I need them. I bet I have lost over a year of my time searching in vain for snips and snaps of information both in physical copies as well as on the computer. Your book inspired me to tackle the Evernote program and even though I still have a stack of papers 12 feet high...ok, maybe only 6, that I need to scan so that I can incorporate them into the program the articles, screen shots, copy-and- paste- into- word items are quickly being entered into my EN program using your plan and conventions. Got to love that drag & drop! Your suggestions are clear, concise and very doable . I just wish I would have been using your system all along. I thank you, and I am sure those relatives upstairs shaking their heads over my sporadic attempts to organize the crumbs of data they've left me also thank you.
Seashell - I am very happy that my book is helping you! Keep going. The only way to reach the end is one step at a time :-)
