Poem in French, dated 21 August 1915. Part 3 |
The
album and all photographs, postcards, and other ephemera contained in
the album belong to Karin Armstrong and may not be copied or republished
without her written permission. The images will be published on Olive
Tree Genealogy with permission.
Each
image has been designated an "R" for Recto or a "V" for Verso plus an
album page number. Recto is the right-hand side page of a bound book
while Verso is the left-hand side page.
I
will be posting the entire album and my additional research on the
individuals identified in Connie's album over the coming months so
please check back frequently to view these historic photos. The easiest
way to see what has been published is to click on the topic "Nursing
Sister WW1 Photos"

I am looking forward to this. My grandfather served in WWI and received a purple heart. His records were lost in the fire and I am not sure where he received the injury. It might be helpful to someone like me. I figure my grandfather with fingers shot off would not end up in the hospital still look forward to seeing the information she gathered.
I'm not sure you understood that I started this series in August 2014 and have posted 153 photos, letters, etc since that date. Just follow the instructions at the bottom of the post you read, to find all 153.
