I checked Family Search. In the 1891 census there is:
Robert Waite, age 39, carpenter, living in Dunnville,
Charles Waite, age 40, actor
Lilian Waite, age 31
Clayton Waite, age 4
One of my husband's Connell ancestors married Margaret Waite, born 1866, died 1954, but there does not seem to be a connection with this Waite.
