This is such a beautiful yet sad set of photographs. Richard and Anna Wagner took their own portraits every
Christmas Eve, from the year they were married in 1900 until a year
before Richard’s death in 1943.
The photos were sent out as Christmas
cards to friends and family. Nothing more needs to be said.
